Welcome to LADY PARTS PRODUCTIONS!

We are a Female owned and operated Production company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
​
Our mandate is to present a louder voice for women and LGBTQ in the local entertainment industry by creating opportunities to tell our stories through video/film, Live Theatre productions, live music, music composition for film/theatre and to offer volunteer work for female or LGBTQ film crew trainees interested in gaining experience in the biz and build their resumes.
​
In addition to developing and producing our own projects, we are also available for local commercial and corporate work.
While we are female OWNED and OPERATED, we have some amazing men who we work with, who stand beside us as women in the arts, and who support our mandate.

So why "Lady Parts?" Other than the obvious pun... in the film industry when cast for a role, we say "I got the part !" At Lady Parts we believe in creating our own opportunities as emerging female/LGBTQ filmmakers, writers and performing artists, and every woman behind the scenes has an important part to play.
